Oak Spring Kennels’ training facility is a gorgeous
rolling 40-acre property. After a day of training, dogs are welcome to
enjoy a swim in the lake or lounge under one of the hundreds of oak
trees.
We have an indoor training building for agility which has
a sand floor and an indoor building for obedience training. The
facility is complete with the jump and wall for Schutzhund, the hurdle,
broad jump, and palisade for French RingSport, along with agility
equipment meeting all AKC, USDAA, and international competition
specifications.
An outdoor, grassy, fenced area measuring approximately
275’ x 75’ is used for agility and other smaller group or individual
activities.
There are 16+/- acres of farm fields for tracking.
The crowning glory of the
property is a turf grass training field measuring over three acres
located directly across from the lake. This area is used for Schutzhund
and French RingSport training and trialing, along with multi-ring
agility trials and seminars.
In addition to the training areas, the main kennel
building functions as a clubhouse in the evening after a day of
training. The clubhouse includes living quarters for judges, helpers,
or decoys including two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and social area with
fireplace. Lunch or dinner can also be prepared in the full kitchen
including oven, stove, microwave, and a dishwasher. The clubhouse makes
a perfect place to meet after the day’s events, present trophies and
awards, or just have a few drinks.
Oak Spring Kennels, Inc. would make
the perfect
location for your club’s next event!
